Description

SPICE simulation of a solar tracker that can maximize the power output from the solar panels, tracking the sun and keeping the panels aligned. It’s been estimated that the yield can be increased form 30 to 60 percent by using a tracking system. This circuit implements a low cost automatic tracking system with a unipolar step motor driven by a PIC16F877 with four darlington transistors.
