A 3 Phase supplies a 20 kW motor power, 240V RMS.Before power factor correction the cos phi is 0.56. The currents on lines are up to 90 ampere RMS.After the power factor correction with compensation capacitors, cos phi is close to 1 and line currents drop down to 60 ampere.
