  • NPN Transistors Double Balanced Mixer

Created by MicroCapDesigner, published on 10-05-2012

This mixer is usable for frequencies around 500Mhz. Discrete transistors mixers require the matching of the transistors' characteristics. This issue is overcome by applying a bit of feedback through emitter resistors. The base are driven with LO signal from a balun transformer. This mixer exhibits a conversion loss of 6dB and 15 to 17dBm of LO drive power.

  • Gilbert Mixer with CMOS 0.35 micron

Created by MicroCapDesigner, published on 03-05-2012

This circuit implements a CMOS conversion gain active mixer. The voltage conversion gain is the ratio of the RMS voltages of IF and RF signals. The power conversion gain is the ratio of the power delivered to the load and the power available to RF input.

  • Diodes Dual Double Balanced Mixer

Created by MicroCapDesigner, published on 24-04-2012

In this circuit both radio and local oscillator frequencies are suppressed in the output signal and the same for even order LO and RF harmonics. It provides an high degree of port to port isolation
